Guiding & Implementing Your Vision from Concept to Installation
-
Our interior design process begins with a thorough review of all aspects of your project, whether it involves addressing issues with an existing layout or planning a new build-out for your family. Based on your project requirements and desired timeline, we develop a customized plan to bring your vision to life.
-
We collaborate closely with architects, both for home and landscape, as well as contractors to ensure everyone is aligned for success. We carefully review architectural plans to understand how they integrate with furniture placement and other decorative elements. If necessary, we identify early opportunities to modify window, door, and wall placement, ensuring a cohesive design approach.
-
Each project has its own unique interior design direction. We begin by selecting plumbing fixtures, tile/flooring materials, and cabinetry, which sets the foundation for the space. We also input appliance, tile, and electrical specifications into finish schedules, enabling the contractor to coordinate the project effectively.
-
To ensure accurate installation according to your vision, we create a comprehensive set of interior drawings for subcontractors. These drawings encompass interior details such as tile layouts, plumbing and electrical locations, stair details, wall elevations, and decorative architectural elements. Additionally, cabinet shop drawings and counter stone details are included in this set.
-
After determining your needs and preferences for furnishings in each space, we work closely with you throughout the selection process. We guide you through showrooms that align with your interior design style and budget, presenting unique and personalized pieces for each area of your home. We provide advice on carpeting, window treatments, wallpaper, and fabrics to ensure your home reflects your lifestyle. Once the spaces are finalized, we manage the ordering, tracking, and delivery process.
-
From the initial drawings to the final stages of construction, we remain present to address any design-related queries that may arise on-site. We accompany contractors and subcontractors during plumbing, electrical, HVAC, AV, and carpentry walk-throughs, as each element is interconnected. We schedule soft goods installations as the construction process nears completion. When coordinating the delivery of furnishings, we stage all areas to ensure the home feels complete and reflects the original design vision.
