Clean and Serene New Englander

When a young family moved into this developer home in Wellesley, MA, they knew they needed to infuse their personality into it! They also wanted to ensure it would stand up against their two little ones and accommodate large gatherings, a regular occurrence.

Our overall interior design strategy? Keep it comfortable, practical, and easy on the eyes—but that didn’t mean we couldn’t have some fun! We incorporated various materials and textures and swapped many lighting fixtures. Walking through, you’ll find pops of color in elements like the bathroom wallpapers and area rugs. Blue, gray, and creamy hues complemented with wood furniture create a clean, tranquil, yet warm feeling throughout the home.

Each space conveys an elevated look and feel, from the open dining room to the homey living room. However, we selected resilient materials to withstand the kids and many guests. The basement was even renovated with a bar, an additional space for hosting. Overall, we enjoyed injecting life and color into this quaint New England home!
